Thanks for that Ruel.net link.... Nice to see him mentioning Web2U with the other two biggies in the set-top markets...

But be advised... MSFT is pushing "UltimateTV" and phasing out the WebTV brand. I always said their hardware costs were just too high for them to make any real money there, so they are moving up to the Tivo/Replay market area.

Btw, as to the PR situation, I think we're sitting on at least a couple of months of PRs that were limited by the registration statement and incumbent "quiet period".

With that registration statement now withdrawn, so has the quiet period.

I really like the fact that Mr. Belanger has so much experience with both software coding tools for embedded processors, as well as these nifty contacts with MOT.

We've alway known that MSU has the best priced box, but lacked to a certain extent on the software side. Mr. Belanger's presence on the board suggests to me that with his extensive contacts at MOT and with his talented programming staff at the Metrowerks subsidiary, we're about to see a whole approach to this box.

MSU already has stated they will be offering PROGRAMMABLE set-tops that the customer can easily customize to their requirements..

From my perspective, the worst thing that can happen to MSU at this point is a takeover at $5-6/share (the angel investors hardly would be willing to sell for less).

Regards,

Ron
