Ap, <I think swing-traders need reduced visibility so that their TA becomes their edge> Good question. I don't have a black or white answer. It may depend on the strategy of the moment. If I'm buying into congestion in anticipation of a breakout or breakdown, the tape should be dull and non-informative at the time of entry. And my approach to momentum moves is pullback-oriented so I'm not looking for time and sales madness to confirm entry. But in that scenario, I am looking for dry up of volume on the pullback. That's visibility, isn't it? Alan
