If only management was as diligent as you regarding the SEC act of 33-34!! ggg I did not say that Management lies and is paid to lie. Yes, they are supposed to disclose blah, blah, blah. What I'm merely saying is to look around you. Compaq said a month ago that they are comfortable with targets, now they warn. This is happening all over the place. Are you calling them all liars? Maybe they should all go to the SEC website. Part of management duties (aside from those you mentioned) is to put the company image is the best possible light (given the facts)...perhaps you should spend some time in management before you lecture others on what to do. In this investing environment, it pays to be cautious, that is all.
