Tinker, I just got my post in, before the opening bell, lets see if they talk about it, on CNBC.

Hi Mark, regarding the strength of earnings, going forward for the optical networking sector, I am looking for the optical networkers to squeak through the down turn in the economy, while maintaining, high and accelerating earnings.

Reasons. Firstly co.s like WCOM have shown that they are willing to cannibalize themselves in order to be able to stay on the cutting edge of the internet /data high tech build out. So the strategic juggling of resources should buy time for the telecoms.

Second, the successful build out of the global optical platform, is a number one priority, the demand for its completion and use is huge and growing every day. This is real , and big business has been the largest beneficiary to date.

Third, this new administration is pro big business. In conclusion, look for Bush, Greenspan, and big business to cooperate in forming a policy that will help fund the telecoms as they build the high tech 21 century high way of light for the benefit of the whole globe.

Take care shaw

Still in the room and still enthusiastic about AVNX. Given that my expertise is more financial than technology related, I have not had a lot to add to the recent discussions.

AVNX hs provided trading opportunities for both longs and shorts. I have been quite pleased with the development of the thread. For the most part, civility has been the order of day. Over the last two months, the thread has attracted over 500 posts from a wide variety of posters, a reflection of the evolving interest in AVNX.
