GLEN HEAD, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 15, 2000--AT&T (NYSE:T), today announced that they have executed a definitive agreement for Swift to acquire the AT&T Easylink business for $50 Million Dollars. Regulatory filings and approvals are anticipated to be completed by the middle of January 2001. AT&T Easylink provides Telex, Facsimile, Electronic Mail, EDI (B2B) and other value-added messaging services to over 30,000 business customers worldwide and has operations in the US, UK, France and Germany and with direct interconnect agreements and leased lines to 115 countries worldwide. "The acquisition of Easylink will help accelerate the growth of our network, customer base, and portfolio worldwide.
