Surf, Could we please tone down the antagonistic rhetoric? I can take take being told I'm wrong, even that my arguments or statements make no sense. My objecting to your filthy language (your first post) and the unnecessarily ugly tone of your second post doesn't justify labeling me as overly sensitive. As for the substance, my names (only a partial list) came from articles in the current issue of Business Week and from a Krugman column in the New York Times. My own opinion of the Bush economic team is that they are highly qualified but I am nervous about losing someone of the demonstrated caliber of Summers. Another problem is that one has to assume that Bush's economic team will include those that put together the economic plans he put forward during the campaign. There is much to criticize there. I will try to find a more relevant thread to discuss this on. Charlie
