I'm always referring to the SPX when talking about the general market. Did a little quick research, and I couldn't find a single instance of Oct. Nov. and Dec. being down consecutively since 1970. Last time may have been, gulp, 1929.

A couple more days like the last few would put us below the november COMPX close- so don't say it can't happen. <g>
