Sorry Tony, I don't buy it. Real estate will always be higher out there, but the wealth effect will work in reverse to cool the rampant speculation in CA. Much of this has been option fueled, and even the big guys' shares have been crushed this year. So what if there is full employment, tell me how much house your salary can buy in the valley....

tony, employment can't buy a house for $500k or $1 million. only stock options can. how many homes can 10,000 options struck at $300 buy when the stock is trading at $10 with no HOPE of EVER making a profit?
