Yes, CPQ has been and continues to make for an emotional roller coaster ride. You had a moment just a short while ago when you told me that you would hold out for 32 and that was after you bought 1000 at 20 and when CPQ seemed to be recovering. Human nature/greed, I do it, too. But the fact is that CPQ is poised to put in a good quarter, that the turn around is still successfully underway, and that the shares are a victim of the economy and market sentiment. With results last year like MC is currently turning in, we never would have fallen to 18 the first time. This time we go down with the likes of INTC, MSFT, DELL, SUNW, all former WS darlings. There is no way that this can be laid at the feet of MC, other than the fact that he is ceo. I do, however, agree that he should have kept his yap shut at the Sheryl Crow concert and that he may have been a tad more timely in his warning. I do think his credibility with WS is intact. But then again, Gates warned after MC did. El
