Voltaire,

Have you finally acknowledged the Nasdaq (and the Dow pretty soon) is in bear market country.

How can you trade objectively if you can't even see some simple trends for this market? Good luck on your calls.

This process of base building is going to be choppy and volatile. Buying options and holding for prolonged periods of time is going to eating away at your option time value.

Regards,

<<Market should be bought in here.>>

Ok, since your back down on your grate, I get to rib you a little bit <ggg>

Vster, count how many times you have said the above quote this year. You've made that quote many, many times at considerably higher levels. I don't think I have ever heard you say " this market should be sold " one time since the spring sell off to 4300....... Eventually you will be correct and we will rise, but my fear is you'll be saying it again when we are at $2450, 2200, 2000, 1800......well, you get my point. You are the ever loving optimist and you think every market should be bought. Those that have been buying all year long on all these supposed bottoms we have had, cannot be sitting too pretty right now. Frankly, I don't think we get a rate cut next week, it wont come til january.....things do not look very good, but I will say the same thing I have been saying for months......I will not sell here at the bottom. Obviously, I have been wrong all year about where the bottom is......frankly, I wish I sold the 3800 bottom, or the 3500 bottom, or the 3200 bottom and so on and so on.......More then likely, I will be sitting here also saying I wish I had sold the 2600 bottom, the 2400 bottom, the 2200 bottom and etc.....
