"It's the word allows" Actually, it was the context that made it untrue, and despite your eloquent argument, I submit that it is. "the US Constitution equals "the govt that governs best governs the least", or, as close to no govt as we can possibly get and still have an army and roads and a common currency. And the Libertarian Party believes in less govt than the Constitution allows. So, yes, Anarchism and Libertarianism are very closely alligned." I suppose I should have cut and paste the whole thing, but I didn't want to spend much time arguing with someone that thinks the above reasoning makes any sense. I also have to disagree with you that because a poor decision receives the imprimatur of the Supreme Court that the Constitution allows it. The SC has made a number of anti-Constitutional rulings over the years. Regardless, that would still make it the law of the land, and the Libertarians should abide by it, though seeking it's overturn through lawful means. In an anarchy, you wouldn't have a Supreme Court to worry about, because you wouldn't have a judicial system. The thesis that Libertarianism is in any way analagous to Anarchism is ludicrous. While both Anarchists and Libertarians may believe that gov't is evil, Libertarians believe that it is a necessary evil, while Anarchists delude themselves into thinking it can be done away with.
