I Really Wonder If Much Of The Buying is Retail My guess is its MUFU's using OPM to ensure that their year end statements don't look too bad. The problem is they don't have as much money as they would like and it increasingly clear that the market is not going to bale them next year. But I guess if the choice is make your rear end or lose your ass and your job they will try. Another case where short term performance standards result in a conflict between the interests of the fund managers and the fund owners.
