ACEN huge volume... market weighing everything down today. Where is the bottom on the mkt? MY OPINION: we have to AT LEAST test Nov low 2525 area. Next low SHOULD be lower in high 2400s my best guess. Here is a great link: astrikos.com Historically, when the VIX approaches 40, a bottom is near. We are low 30's today. My guess is we will see the bottom (will it be the last one) late today (not likely) or Monday/Tuesday. A lot of people are thinking Greenspan will lower rates at 19th meeting... I bet he will not. Bias will change at least. 1st cut in Jan. But remember this: All big bull market runs begin with Fed easing. In the last few weeks, we have heard everything bad we could hear. I mean really, can it get much worse. According to today's market-yes. However, bottoms occur quickly. Tom
