Keith,

you still tickle me.

No one should follow anyone but if they do. Tell them to buy this market and hold and if possible add on dips.

This is not that difficult, it's called logic.

Keith! You need to realize that Volt has changed his style and is doing a lot of trading.....You will not be able to follow him. A trader can not take time to tell you every move they make...leaving a move out makes them look like they are contradictory. I talk to Volt on the phone and can't keep up with him. When he tells you to buy and hold that is all he can do. No one can tell anyone when to sell...on the short term....Buy and Hold???....Easy the market will go up. Even I believe that....always has. When?? Don't know but it will.

This is true of Volt, Greg, and RR. They are too busy doing their on thing to tell us every move. The way I use them is to see which stocks they think are cool. I then do my own DD and make up my own mind as to trading style, moves and daily, weekly or monthly decisions

I am trying to go out and search for posts that have differing opinions than maybe some on the board and bring them back for balance to the thread...be sure to check out the STOLEN STUFF.

It seems that trading ups and downs is what is in fashions now. It is all over SI. What does it mean??? I don't know.

LTBH's should probably pay more attention to G&K board. That is one board that seems to be LTBH.

Keith,

You are right about Voltaire not being required to post his every thought & final buy/sell decision he makes in the market before he actually contacts his broker. One thing you might consider is that the MSFT news was an event that could/should have changed everyone's short term plans.

Voltaire looked at the landscape & made his play. Rather than continue buying & no selling, he chose to sell & continue buying. Since this market moves faster than one can think & type, how can you call him deceptive for preserving capital first & spending time leisurely posting here second.

Bottom line.... we all had this information before us to decide how we will act/react. Each one of us is personally responsible for protecting our capital & ALL of our BUY/SELL decisions. If you or anyone is going to wait for Voltaire or anyone to take you by the hand & say SELL!!!! or BUY!!!! well, you will be the one who ends up disillusioned..... & quite likely broke.

I take issue with calling his actions deceptive. Just because he made some sells..... he still was buying this market..... and he had absolutely no obligation to take precious time to post his every thought here before acting on his own personal investment decisions.

Think about the series of events since MSFT warned & the futures, news, etc., prior to the open today....... If you took the time to post every one of your personal investment decisions you wanted to make this AM, would you have had time to actually formulate sound decisions, post it & actually act on them??

Your PM'ing friends & perhaps you, need to start thinking for yourselves & using this thread for news, analysis, opinions & supplemental data to your own personal DD. If you are making buy/sell decisions from Voltaire or any thread leader....... well, you will find yourself behind the curve when quick thinking & reliance on your own abilities are most critical.

In that event..... You only have yourselves to blame IMVHO.
