Bob, congrats on being right!
What's your prediction for 2001? $3.50, $5.50 or %15.50 (I wish -g-)
Do you know if EK was hedging before? It does make sense to hedge
if you think the price is low. So is this news bullish or bearish for silver?

There were rumors that WB has sold his silver. Do you know anything?

Thanx - ild

"It might seem so, but it has been that way for a very long time, folks have been predicting a big rally, and I'm still waiting. Silver hit a new yearly low today at 4.56. I predicted it would hit $4.50 in 2000, so I'm getting close"

Isn't the issue with silver that there are huge above ground stocks, which are gradually being dissipated. I suppose if we are smart enough to recognize when those above ground stocks are gone, a lot of money will be made in silver. My suspicion is that the time is near. Because I don't think Buffet bought for the short haul. He is a long term investor and a lot smarter and better informed than me. I believe that the next major move will be up. I don't know when it will start or if it will start from lower prices. I am fairly certain however, that we will see backwardation and commercial speculators long. If and when that happens, I will look very closely at the situation. Until this is a market for the patient.

Live long and prosper,
