Gordon Liddy Return in Shocking Premiere; Bobby Hosea Joins Cast; Billy Dee Williams Back in Recurring Role Will Cie Baxter (Lisa Thornhill) and Chance Bowman (Lucky Vanous) strike up a romance during the second season of 18 Wheels of Justice. 18 Wheels Of Justice, the action drama series starring Lucky Vanous, opens its second season with an incredible twist that unites Chance and his nemesis, Jacob Calder (G. Gordon Liddy), in a very strange union, on Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2001 (10 - 11 p.m., ET/PT) on TNN: The National Network. When Chance is faced with the shocking revelation that Calder was not responsible for his wife's death, the two foes find themselves dependent upon each other -- Chance for information and Calder for his life. Lisa Thornhill returns to the series as Cie, no longer trying to "control" Chance, but becoming his active partner, as the two follow assignments for the Justice Department. G. Gordon Liddy, portraying crime boss, Jacob Calder, remains a dark presence in the series. Now serving a life sentence in a high tech prison, Calder increases his sense of menace even as he's kept in solitary confinement. Bobby Hosea joins the series as Assistant Attorney General Jonathan Snow, who gives Chance and Cie their assignments and covers for them in the bureaucratic jungle known as Washington. Billy Dee Williams returns later in the series in a recurring role. Also joining the series this season is a new, enhanced version of the state-of-the-art, Kenworth T-2000, 18-wheel technology rig. This updated co-star has the same high tech features as its predecessor, with such additions as a fingerprint identification system that recognizes individual drivers, a navigational system that talks the driver to the destination, as well as night vision and driver-drowsiness monitoring systems. The edgy second season of 18 Wheels Of Justice opens with Chance achieving his goal, the arrest of Calder, only to discover Calder wasn't responsible for the deaths of his wife and daughter. Assistant Attorney General Jonathon Snow offers Chance the opportunity to return to active duty as a Federal Agent, maintaining his cover. Cie becomes more actively involved in covert operations, and more closely bonded to Chance. Chance is now on a mission to discover who really killed his family, while solving separate and different cases along the way.newsalert.com Rick ps - I notice the show is filmed in San Diego. Hmmmm - maybe I can stop by and see the truck to see whose equipment they use.
