ben, thanks. in my own life, i'm 100% for personal responsibility. i don't like to blame b/c that takes away my own control of my own life - something i don't want to surrender. btw, the dell thread members are finding out what personal responsibility REALLY is. this is a GOOD thing as they really have learned some valuable lessons.

yes, there is plenty of blame to go around... and around. that being said, bill clinton set a tone for america. he did have some good points. he didn't verbally patronize the poor and minorities in ways that some presidents have done. in my view, what he did was paramount to being polite and saying "thank you" as he robbed the poor and minorities... they just haven't realized their wallet is gone yet.

anyway, you know i believe democrats are demicans and republicans are republicrats. they all want joe 6-pack's money to funnel toward their own selfish interests. i'm glad you saw what i was trying to do. regardless of the party, i was trying to filter information based on intellectual honesty. both failed miserably. then again, isn't that to be expected? :-(

this latest go around of "hugs for everyone" kind of makes me sick. does that make effectively screwing the will of the people ok (bush screwed 'em less than gore, but he still screwed 'em)?

i think some folks (read bush, gore and radical supporters) believe it does. since there is no problem now that everything is "hunky doory," hug, hug, both parties will now scheme the next way they can screw joe and janice 6 pack. sad, but, imho, true.
