That issue shows how silly the Rambus royalty scheme is. The memory controler might be physically part of a northbridge of physically part of the CPU but its the same thing. Whats next are they going to sue the box makers for 5% royalties on their sales because all PCs have memory controlers.

Good point. Boeing would be craze to install a part with Rambus memory in their planes. <g>
