Joe, the weather forecast had something to do with the NG rally, which is finally taking hold on the NG stocks. RCJ's point that the media has turned their attention to this sector is very valid. Buy recs are everywhere on these stocks.

Future's traders got caught with their pants down today. A large short position had develoved going with the three day downward trend. Fundamentals continue to be excellent for this sector. OEI's credit, btw, was upgraded this week.

On the techs, I am confident that we're going to get a recovery next week. Much of today's activity involved option expiration. Timely downgrades by Bear Stearns, wouldn't you agree?

Much volatility will come next week with the revision of the Naz 100. The Naz website lists the
changes.

Good post from the gentleman that mentioned RDRT trading in tandem with the Naz.

SUNW's beating is overdone and ridiculous. Just the herd moving as the herd does. Comparing ORCL to SUNW, ORCL "beat estimates" after receiving seven downward revisions over the last four weeks. SUNW on the other hand was downgraded twice (to buy) but has received 24 upward earnings revisions over the last four weeks (and two downward). Even the Bear Stearns turkey who downgraded SUNW to BUY today increased his estimate. Go figure??????

I bought ORCL for the earnings beating estimates event, but
SUNW for a hold - a very beat up hold at the moment, but I'm not worried.

Catch you later.
