You are right, $ is "strong" - it is expensive... when I "invested" into it, I got approximately $1.18 per Euro...

with that external deficit the $ is not sustainable....historically, the $ trades southwards when a conservative rule is on...

1994 the $ traded about 9.6 ATS or E1.43

The $ stands now at 0.92 against the euro. I'm surprised by the quick rise of the european currency...fortunately the warrants "bite" a bit..

London is no problem, the british pound is tied very closely to the $, through the "cable" which is steady at 1 47 to 150
