Hi JP,

What are you holding in your portfolio these days?

Toast. Lots of toast.

:^)

I've begun converting shares into calls at points where the market bottoms or retests the bottom.
It's made a world of difference!
Theory being that the market will rise off this level, even temporarily. Buy during the heavy panic.
I sell some of calls (~1/2) as I begin to make profits near 100%. Letting the remaining calls ride until the market shows signs of weakness and transfer the money back into shares.

I'm now holding calls in NEWP, EXTR, JDSU, PMCS, GLW, and unfortunately, QCOM.

I bought most of my calls today between 10:00 and 10:30 (except QCOM I bought yesterday).
All are either Feb or Mar and OTM. I didn't buy anything over $3 (except QCOM which is now cut in half to $3).
:^)

Look at all the Fiber/Storage/Momos charts today. They all recovered strongly during the last hour or so today, while the larger cap leaders fell.

I like JNPR in here as well.
I'm giving the box makers and chip makers more time to recover.

I'm also toying with making AOL a LTB&H now.
Their future looks amazing once again. A new beginning.
She-X loves 'em.
