I think we are not meeting minds. I agree that the market is going down. However, the emotion of the market does effect day to day trading -- it effects it alot. If the US market crashes so do all the world markets the next day. That is emotion because the next day the market can have record gains. Again emotion. In the long term the market will have a trend determined by greater forces -- such as Clinton. In the short term, the market moves according to perceptions of the future. The market doesn't perceive the future with Bush is bright enough to even give it one day of grace.
