Gateway is advertising the 950 model on their page as the "Deal of the week". Regarding video, they show it differently on the "matrix" screen, but if you go to customize it, it shows the same card - 16 MB TNT-2 card.

The hard drive on the 1 GHz model is also 5400, and is only $50 difference.

I think the reason for the difference is that the 950 MHz model is about to fall off the cliff, and Gateway wants to sell all the existing stock ASAP. Hopefully, faster speed grades are around the corner.

It would be nice if AMD released a 1.3(33) GHz chip at about the time when Intel releases their 1.3 Hz Pentium 4. <evil grin>
