What are you doing up this time of night?? I have indicators pointing to a bounce Monday afternoon to Tuesday latest ( FOMC permitting) and have an over bought on the VIX so the odds of a bounce soon are looking OK. SOme of the my other cycles though are not looking so good so I plan on doing some serious chart work this weekend before coming to a conclusion. I was very cautious today but did put in a few bids on some LEAP calls which missed. New job is tough and busy so best guess limits and monitoring by internet capable cellphone is all I can do. In markets like this, I don't like to get aggressive unless I am home in front of the screens where I can get a better pulse reading. Put call showed a bit of fear and the large outflows of funds last week is also a good sign we may be nearing a bottom. OEX is at do or die territory but they are shuffling a lot of stocks in it Monday which is going to skew things for a while. Whoops, watching my sci fi flick and the commercials are over. <ggg> Good Luck, Lee

Hi Chris: do you think we have a potential dbl bottom? Looks like a potential dbl bottom to me on the SOX, NDX, even SPX, many potential bottom formations on individual stocks. Could be potentially explosive. At this stage, the key word is potential, however, but this may resolve itself within a week. What does the thread guru think? I hope his mother is fine. OT: I would like to second Steven's plea to keep personal feuds off this thread (LG, DMP, L3!). This thread is so much more pleasant to read if people behave in a civilized way. Unfortunately there is no "ignore feuds/bad language" button on SI. Good trading to everyone. Phil
