I buy a tobacco blend that has latakia and perkeet as its two main ingredients. Perkeet is a strain of tobacco that only grows in Louisiana. Actually, it probably could grow elsewhere, but something about the cypress swamps give it a unique flavor. Latakia is a Turkish tobacco that in the old days was smoked in smoking tents by Arabs. (Smoked as in smoking a ham)

Its a very rich and robust smoke.
