So Sarah died in Kirjath Arba (that is, Hebron) in the land of Canaan, and Abraham came to mourn for Sarah and to weep for her.
Isaac would have been thirtyseven whem his mother died. I see no reason to doubt the possibility of people living longer in those days. I do believe this story is literal, and I believe it is true.
