When the dollar plummets, and banks start collapsing its the best friend you will ever have. The banks in ASIA have been teetering for 10 years, what happens if US banks start to flounder, and dollar collapses? Where will the safe haven be? The Euro? Treasuries?(when Budget surplus's disapear and debt is re-invigorated). No it will be GOLD. The world has shuned GOLD for much to long, and the huge short positions in Gold only need alitlle push to start a great run.

gold as an investment is only good in an extreme panic
or when inflation begins to rear its head

we might see the former, but bonds are better
we might see the latter briefly, but shorting QQQ is better

just an opinion / jim
