Did he over do it? Probably. Will he cut? No way. He is old school. I doubt that he even goes to a loosing bias - more likely just a neutral. Remember he has said that his idea of the perfect market is 6% growth. That is still above what we are supposed to do next year. All of this year's pain he will write off as an adjustment to a bubble that should not have been there. I really suspect that he is very comfortable with where the economy is right now.
