The Communists and Socialists are angry as it is easier to recruit when a liberal is in office than a conservative. That is due to the simple fact that when the Democrat Party is in office the next step to the left is the Socialist or Communist peoples. When a Republican is in office the next step to the left becomes the Democrat Party. That forces the others even farther to the fringe. The Socialists and Communists than seem unreasonably far to the left rather than one step away. Something to think about. The same may be said for some right wing fringe groups. An eye should be watching any group that appears to have a destructive agenda.

Don Rhodes--I'm not terrified in the slightest that Bush will be a mature, decent and fair man. I hope he is, in fact, because he's soon to be president. I believe he is an extremely inarticulate man, a rather incurious man, but also a man who will try (I hope) to resist the anger of the right. We'll see...

I think that a lot of folks on the left are terrified that President elect Bush (given half a chance) will turn out to be a mature, descent and fair man capable of the task. In keeping with the spirit of the season, may Mr. Clinton go in peace and receive all he has coming to him.......
