He's got better things to do than constantly reassure a bunch of wimpy analysts and trigger-happy "investors." They said they were on target not long ago, and reaffirmed on Friday that the III's were shipping. That's more than they should have needed to do.

JMHO.

The FD rule by the SEC has made companies become more "closed mouth" about the prospects of their stock. The reason is that an investor can argue that the reason they bought into the stock was based on a bullish statement made by one of the executives of the company and if the stock turns south due to reasons unforseen, the company is open to a lawsuit from a disgruntled shareholder or a group of them in a class action lawsuit that is the rage with lawyers (who specialize in this sort of thing).

Tax selling is hurting the stock. It is tying up traditional holders of SUNW for 31 days (Wash sale rule).
