This is the only thing I don't like about the Rams - that they are very cheap. They are constantly scrapping after the whistle blows. -------------------------------------------------------- Leftover Hard Feelings As if a game critical for both teams wasn't already big enough, Tampa Bay offensive guard Frank Middleton set the tone early this week for the Bucs' showdown with St. Louis on Monday night. The fourth-year veteran, a guy with a reputation for talking big and taking some cheap shots, did not hold back when asked about the Rams and an altercation that occurred at the end of the NFC championship game last year. "OK, they're punks," Middleton said. "Everyone's a punk, and I don't like them. Just watch film, you'll see. In the game (last) Sunday, (Vikings running back) Robert Smith made a good run and one guy wants to push him in the back of his head to make sure he's down. Stuff like that, I don't play. I don't play games like that. When you win a game, leave it alone, walk from it and be happy. But instead, they want to come to our sidelines, jump up and down, cuss us out and stuff. It's war man. Let's be fair, it's not a game anymore, it's war." Middleton claimed an unnamed Rams player slammed him in the back of the head during last year's NFC title game. After the game, he went after then-St. Louis strong safety Billy Jenkins, who now plays in Denver. In the tunnel underneath the stands, Middleton tangled with another Rams safety, Devin Bush, and police had to be summoned to restrain the men. The guard hinted that the Rams don't like physical contact and that their finesse style is reflected in their offense. "They want to have a track meet, they want to run up and down the field," Middleton said. "They don't want to get hit. Their defense is pretty much the same way. They want to blitz and stunt. They don't play football. They don't want to line up 11-on-11 and take hits. They want to run and hide, but sooner or later they are going to have to face us and play like men
