Ted, Did you read the rest of my post? I don't advocate letting people die needlessly, or suffer unnecessarily. However, how far out of our way should we go to protect people from themselves. I mean if Michael J. Fox is sick and seeks medical attention and has the resources to: (a) find it (b) pay for it (c) understand it Then we aren't 'protecting' him, and he is clearly one of the fitter. But if Michael J. Fox failed to seek help, then it's his loss. We are encouraging society to become a bunch of lazy, let someone else help me cause I'm not going to help myself, population. Steve
