I have no kids but have friends who do. I remember buying $15 in gas, gave the kid a $20 and he asked how much change I had coming. I told him $10 and he gave it to me. While explaining the difference between a fin and a sawbuck I found I'd paid for his education. I got cheated. Girl across the road went through the same system. Straight A's. First year of college was in France, speaking French, study the humanities. Second year was in Germany, speaking Deutch, studying aeronautical engineering. Masters in both from the University of Illinois. Difference, well intelligence is part but I'd give parent involvement a whole bunch of credit.
