Gary, Greenspan Put?

Mr Greenspan doesn't think that way, his sole responsibility as chief fed officer is economic equilibrium.. As prospects now stand we can easily keel over into a recession in 2001, which is and hasn't been his agenda - he will attempt to curb this prospect and stay the course in his aim at 3-4% economic growth which was calculated to be a 'soft landing'.. It is evident that he over-reached his aim and must retract some pts to achieve it..
