I have no idea when those other articles were written, if anyone happens to find out I would be interested to know as well.

I read a website everyday called slashdot.org It's a self-described news for nerds website.

Once in a while interesting finds will turn up like these articles today.

The two articles were also cross linked at:

slashdot.org

and that's how I stumbled onto them.
