some states don't allow write in ballots, and if FL uses punch-card ballots in some counties, i'd guess that they're one of them... (I don't see how you can write in a name on a punch-card).

what about write-in ballots? a friend mentioned yesterday
that obviously on a machine count, no write in ballots
are ever accounted for.

have not heard anyone mention this yet however.
don't they need hand counts to review the write in votes?
write-in votes are legal votes.

otherwise, how else are they counted?
