re energy costs
This is EXACTLY what is happening here in San Diego. One after another business is closing because energy costs are going through the roof.
REasons?
One is cost of oil.
But another is ENVIRONMENTALISTS: they are stopping building of new facilities, instead facilities are being reduced and so there is limited energy when we need MORE energy. Voila Cost goes up.
In addition, ENVIRONMENTALISTS pushed a new oil product on CA: companies here had to re-tool very expensive, cost of oil and gas goes up. Now it turns out that the new stuff is poisoning fish, etc (didn't matter when it was making PEOPLE sick of course) so it is going to have to be taken back OUT more retooling more expense.
Will we go back to living in caves?
Not too good for the economy and the stock market.
ALthough we don't want to move until June we are putting our houses up for sale NOW: market is still good in Ca, may be slowing and prices going down if we wait a few months.

Still needing to learn to short, have almost completely lost a $1 million account now and am too fearful to do anything, practically a blabbering idiot at this point.
Still have money in the IRA which should probably be converted to mostly cash.
