No, it is the "Win32.Matrix" virus, whatever that is - that is what esafe told me. Don't ask me how I got it as I don't have a clue. I'd blame LG if I could. -g-

Anyway, I think it was Tom that PMed me a virus outfit called esafe. I loaded up their stuff and it ran a check while I was watching TV so missed the moment to tell it to destroy the virus, and I guess it left it alone. Seems pretty strange they would do that. Now I think the virus attacked the esafe program and destroyed that.

Here is what I get:

error message: The SERV95.EXE file is linked to missing export OLEAUT32.DLL:184.

Next error message: A device attached to the system is not functioning.

Next error message: Could not execute the external program C:\PROGRA~1\ESAFE\PROTECT\SERV95.EXE

What to do now? get another virus program and stick around the box for a couple hours while it loads up? Lee, if you see this, do you still want the register error message? It is a mile long, but I will copy it down if it will help.
