That is VERY interesting dvdw. Have you considered further investigating this? I, for one, would be exceedingly pissed if I thought someone had illegally used my vote.

In some states having a drivers license alone will qualify you for jury selection. Voter registration is another independent qualifer. Assume that was not true in your case since you know the law but it is true in California and some other states.
