Yes, they may as well not flog a dead horse. The idea that they will make hay with it is ludicrous. If Bush is successful, no one will care for their smears. If he is not, they have a good chance to beat him anyway. If the Democrats in the Senate filibuster too much, they will be perceived as obstructionist, and will be blamed for not getting things done, so the idea of intransigent non- cooperation is a non- starter.......Have a good one yourself!
