Stopped at the coffee shop today. My usual 10 seat table had 12 people at it so I sat at the next table. A stranger came in and sat down. "Hey, I know you. Didn't you use to date Barbara ....." Now I'm trying real hard to remember and drawing blanks. "I used to live next to her on Clayton Street." Yep I did, 2 dates in 19 and 65 I admitted. Crap, wrong answer, that makes us life long friends. And he's a guy who has kept track of not only the kids he went to high school with but two grades on both sides. And the guy had been drinking. While he was droning on he mentioned he needed a heart operation. Salvation!! Maybe he'd die and I could finish my coffee in peace. Like Jason he didn't die, hell he went on about being in the NSA and doing undercover. Now I had to leave even though I had a quarter cup left. He was to where he was caught and tortured by the Russians as I went out the door.
