Neo, The Gulf coast along Florida is fine, but once you get west of Panama City it turns muddy and nasty. Around Tampa the water is emerald green with "sugar white" sand, and you can stand in water up to your chin and count your toes. I had a couple of boats a long time ago, but found out that they were a device that made a hole in the water into which you poured money. I think I'll pass on the boat excursion.I would rather take a cruise to Alaska in August. May just do that. Always wanted to see that place. ~;=;o --haqi
