Iam not a big Kudlow fan but he was right about one thing, rates should have never been raised. There really in more deflation then inflation, and the issue is with ASSet prices, not comodity inflation. Therfore Margin requirements or tax laws should have been changed to slow speculation. The rates were being raised whille money Pumped endlesly into USA is idiotic to say the least. They should have left rates alone and drained money, and changed the margin requirements. This probably should have been done in 97-98.
