My guess is that black voters experienced difficulties BECAUSE of the get-out-the-vote drive, which caused an unprecedented turnout and overwhelmed the precincts. Also, first time voters experienced difficulties due to motor voter registration snafus - you really need to check to make sure your registration was completed because they won't call you to tell you otherwise. Motor voter is a very unreliable way to register. Some people are very irate because the polling place was moved. Well, they publish the polling place in the local paper, but you have to look for it.
