A friend of mine is an exec in a local CLEC. The company just started about a year ago and was doing very well. Even CSCO gave them 40M. My friend invested a lot of his personal money in the company. They had venture capitalists lined up and then the market started going down... the money guys walked away. Last week my friend was told the company is going bankrupt, and he will be paid through January 15th. The money he invested in the company is a goner.

futures positive....maybe there is a chance that we will get a "buy the rumor" rally in front of the fed meeting.
