An excellent comment, and a distinction too often overlooked.

When I see a day trader as wealthy as Buffett and as wise as Graham maybe it will be time to revise my thinking. Until then, I am an investor, not a trader. The shortest period of time I have ever held a stock has been about 6 months. My basic horizon is 5 years. I have never speculated in a dot.com stock. And I'm perfectly happy with my return of 100% last year and over 50% this year to date. May not be what a day trader yearns after, but I've never looked at Level II in my life and never bought a stock without reviewing the annual report and 10-K.

So yes, I approve of your emphasis.
