Steve: Companies are going to have to make it easier to change machines every 6 months if they don't want demand to level off and start falling. MS needs to build in a utility in Windows xx where users can easily duplicate all of the software on their old machine to their new machine via usb/firewire/parallel port/network. There was actually some discussion of this on the thread a while back. Maybe some sort of off-site backup over broadband would be a good solution? -fyo
