Perhaps the terminology is confusing things again. I think what you're saying is that you have a libertarian political philosophy and have in some way been able to reconcile that with the Republican platform, which would outlaw abortion. If that is correct, I would appreciate any insights you can offer on how the two can be reconciled. They seem contrary to me. Libertarianism (the philosophy, not the party) is about minimalist government and maximum individual freedom. I don't understand how a libertarian could be for imposing by law the religious views of some citizens on the rest of us.
