mr mark ...with the previous clickstream, did you encounter three tabs... general, security and summary? No security tab, just general and summary. During install, I was asked to choose a password for the administrator's account. This is the one I use for it. Maybe, the first time I logged on as administrator, I accidentally created another low-level account named "administrator" (using the same password), and I get logged on that way instead of as THE Administrator. Or maybe I have W2000 LITE from Hangzhou. :) I'll try that forum you pointed out, thanks. Frank
