BLUE cut what a surprise, SUNW cut,BVSN cut, ACTM cut, STM cut, G restructuring.CSCO upgraded, BELM upgraded.Interesting more downgrades than usual but market is up. Artificial intervention, we'll see if it can compensate for decreased earnings estimates and a new wave of analyst downgrades. All those holding Call options we will probably have a bounce, but I'd be cautious about selling into any rally. Shorters, whether they cover or hang out waiting for reversals, will have a hard morning while their gains might be offset. I would not be shorting indiscriminately either, but Tuesday, and Wednesday might be the day for shorting this rally. Why short beforehand and hold short positions through the weekend only to be squeezed this morning? There will be ample time to short or stay long without second guessing.
